So this Easter was spent with Pat Efird.  Baxley, Jummy, Andrew Lee, Cameron and I were invited.  We all had a great time and did a few different things.  We went to Pat’s comic book store which was awesome!  I got two comics, so that was cool.  We went Put-Putting with Pat’s friend Eddy.  We did all sorts of fun things.  We went to Dave & Buster’s and even went to a Charlotte’s Knights game. The most fun that I had though was hanging out a Pat’s.  We would just play games, whatch TV/movies and talk.  The Efirds were great.  Mrs. Efird made us all Easter Baskets which were placed on the stairs Saturday night when we got back from hanging out.  Mr. Efird grilled steak and chicken for us Sunday evening.  It was just a great time overall.

So tonight Baxley, Peter, Mike Afdahl and I hung out down the mountain.  For people who don’t know Mike Afdahl is Amanda Afdahl’s (RA and formerly Amnda Whitehead who attended Covenant College) husband.  He is really cool and a great conversationalist.  So we went to Greyfriar’s and I had five cups of coffee (too much) and we just sat and talked about all kinds of things.  One of which was about a Cherry Factory that he and Amanda worked at.  The process that all the cherries go through were crazy.  After that we just walked around Chattanooga and talked.  Then we came back.

So this Saturday happened as most Saturdays do.  But what was different about this Saturday is that when I thought I was going to be going to the Great Hall for lunch.  Instead I went and had Pancakes with Katie Ellis and Sarah Goddard and watched some ‘The Office’.  Then for dinner we went and met Josiah and Cameron at Sugar’s Ribs which was pretty good (although the portions were a bit small).  The best part however were the goats and a kitten that were out in the back through a door labeled ‘Goats’.  So that was sweet.  And I hadn’t seen Cameron and Josiah for awhile so it was really good seeing them again.  The kitty-cat, as Jimmy calls it, really liked him (Jimmy).  The goats just liked anyone of us who had food.  So after that Baxley, Peter and I went to the SNL skit thing that was going on.  It was kind of funny and a lot better than I thought it was going to be.  There were some good moments.  So there the night ended… or did it?  No.  The answer is no.  After all that we had a little scuffle with a freshman on the hall and it was fun and we all ended the night on good terms.  The End.

Last night was 80′s Skate Night.  I have never been to 80′s Skate Night before and I am glad I went.  After skating for about 30 minutes I realized that my skate were cutting into my ankle and that wasn’t cool but whatever  It was my own fault.   I didn’t wear long socks.  Other than that it was lots of fun.  I had never been skating so it was pretty sweet.   I wasn’t very good at it but got the hang of it after awhile.

So Monday nights are Taco Nights.  Tonight was a Monday night, therefore, ergo, we had tacos tonight.  It was a lot of fun.  My suite went with Mary Elizabeth and had a cheap meal.  What could be better than that?

Alright, I realize that I haven’t updated my blog in nearly a month.  My appologies for this.  I have loved being back here at school.  Since I had been away for so long I really appreciate being here even more.  I love all my roommates and being with them again and school has been going really well.  Bellow are some pictures I have taken since I have returned here at Covenant.

Last night I was blessed to have been able to hang out with my good and old friends Allie and Ben.  I hadn’t seen Allie in a few months and hadn’t seen been in about three and a half years.  Catching up with the two of them was so good for me and I have missed them both a lot.  Me and Ben figured out we’ve known each other for about fourteen years which is kind of crazy.  Allie is as great as ever as well as her hugs being as tight as ever.  But as the night progressed I found out that neither of them had been to Entertainmart (How ridiculous is that!?  You can get some amazing deals there) so I just had to remedy that.  I think Ben ended up getting eleven movies and Allie, maybe four or so; I got a few my self.  A little Arrested Development was watched and then Allie left and Ben and I stayed up and talked for awhile.  So it was very good/refreshing/nice/great.  I miss them.

So some things have come to pass and my readers may want to hear about them.  If not well… I’m going to anyway.  Lets see… I was challenged by my friend Pat Thibodeau to participate in the 365 project.  This is where you take a picture everyday.  I thought about it but I think I am inclined to decline because as you, my blog readers may know, I have had trouble keeping my blog up to date daily so… it’s not going to happen.  I still plan on taking pictures as often as I can but every day is just not going to work for me.  Also I am going back to school which starts the 13th.  I’ll be heading up there with my parents this Saturday.  It’s pretty crazy to think of going back because I’ve been away for what seems to be so long.  So that’s exciting while at the same time a little sad because it’s been nice being home with family and having Pat and Jess so close.  Oh and I got a laptop from my brother and sister-in-law/my parents and for that I am very grateful.  It’s so awesome.  I’ve never had a laptop before and having one is so great because you can take it wherever you wanna!  But anyway, last night I hung out with Pat and Jess (no surprise) and it was great.  Jess made a fantastic Spaghetti and while we ate it we watched Wes Anderson’s Bottle Rocket which is always good.  So yeah… that’s kind of what has been going on with me and I promise more regular updates but probably not daily.

So for Christmas I got a sweet new flash and I love it.  I’m still getting used to it and figuring out all how it works.  Recently I acquired a transmitter to give my new flash the ability to be wireless.  I haven’t really gotten any awesome pictures with it but I have taken a few.
